About Dr. Mark Davis

Dr. Mark Davis, DVM, MBA is the owner of Northwest Veterinary Surgery. Dr. Davis is the only Board Certified Small Animal Surgeon in Arkansas. Dr. Davis is a native of Northwest Arkansas having grown up in Rogers. After attending the University of Arkansas where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in animal nutrition, Dr. Davis completed his DVM degree in 1993 at Oklahoma State University. He then pursued specialization, first with his internship at LSU, and then a small animal surgical residency at Texas A&M University. He completed his residency in 1998 and became board certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 1999. Dr. Davis also completed the requirements to become a certified canine rehabilitation practitioner (CCRP) through the University of Tennessee in 2010. A life long student, he completed his MBA at the University of Washington in 2018. Dr. Davis’ professional interests include orthopedic, neurologic and soft tissue surgery, as well as the path to recovery through physical rehabilitation.
